Engraving
Rotary cutter engraving, diamond drag marking, and laser engraving are processes we use to mark, decorate, and/or cut plastics, ferrous, and non-ferrous metals. Laminate plastics commonly referred to as engraving plastics are layered plastics of different colors to allow a layer to be cut away revealing the lower layer displaying colored text, symbol, or graphic. Cutting into the surface of an anodized aluminum or lacquered brass can reveal virgin material which can be oxidized to add contrast. Materials can also be deep cut and then filled with ink or paint to give a color-filled image. We do engrave and fill stainless steel. We maintain an inventory of many common materials and keep some special materials on hand to provide unique applications such as painted or powder coated stock, in which we can laser engrave images or graphics. Our size limitations for engraving are 16" x 24".
