Small Runs, Prototypes, Preproduction, Pilot Product Development
We have a minimum of ONE piece. Our recommendation in most cases would be to at least run a few pieces if the need is for only one. This type business is not abnormal for us, nor do we have high minimum order costs. Digital processes make it much simpler to run only one piece and with a $ 15.00 minimum, is still affordable. Complex, multi-colored overlays require enough process that cost minimums are irrelevant. We do utilize all our capabilities to produce small or short run orders. Laser cutting, digital computer plotting, as well as powercutting can often be substituted for tooling to create the final shape on this type work. Only in special material situations or unique cutting requirements would tooling be required for a Prototype. Small run Metal Nameplates, Data Plates, Serial Plates as well as Identification Plates can be produced with alternate methods, such as Metalphoto processing, laser marking or engraving with or without filling with color.
If the processes required for a particular product go beyond our digital or alternative methods and the quantities are still minimal, we will perform any of our production operations to meet the needs of the customer and/or their product or service still in small quantities, even with the same one piece minimum.
